Liam got in touch straight away after I posted my job (over Easter) & immediately came round to look at the problem. Turned out I had a water leak where mains water came into the house. I could not have asked for more from Liam, he was courteous, professional, talked me through what he found and what he would do to fix the problem. S E Water had to be called out as the stopcock in the road was stuck, they didn't come until the evening, but Liam them came to finish the job. I highly recommend him.

Liam got in touch straight away after I posted my job (over Easter) & immediately came round to look at the problem. Turned out I had a water leak where mains water came into the house. I could not have asked for more from Liam, he was courteous, professional, talked me through what he found and what he would do to fix the problem. S E Water had to be called out as the stopcock in the road was stuck, they didn't come until the evening, but Liam them came to finish the job. I highly recommend him.

Gravity-fed hot water systems, also known as vented cylinders, are supplied by a cold water tank typically located in the loft. The water travels down to the hot water cylinder using the natural force of gravity, which is why they are called gravity-fed systems.
These systems depend on gravity, so the higher the water tank is positioned, the better the water pressure. Vented cylinders are simpler in design, making them more affordable and easier to install and maintain.

Unvented cylinders eliminate the need for a water tank, as they receive water directly from the cold water mains. The water is heated within the cylinder by an immersion heater or another internal source. A temperature and pressure relief valve is typically found at the top of the cylinder.
These cylinders are more space-efficient since they don’t require a separate water tank.
They also operate more quietly and have a lower risk of water contamination due to their sealed design.
